Paula Reardon, Full-time Business Faculty and Advisor
Paula Reardon is a Business faculty instructor and advisor for SUNY Delhi located at SCCC. She received her MBA from Empire State College and her B.S. in Business Administration from Skidmore College. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Business Administration focusing on Management. Additional teaching experience includes adjuncting at FMCC and SCCC. She is also involved with a mentorship program through the business program at Skidmore College. Her industry background includes over twenty five years in a career in the corporate industry with McDonald’s Corporation having held a number of management and mid mangement positions. In addition to teaching, she currently owns and operates a retail business with her husband in Saratoga Springs, New York. She is involved with CRHRA, DBA of Saratoga Springs, and the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce.
Patricia DeAngelis, Full-time Criminal Justice Faculty and Advisor
Patricia DeAngelis graduated from Wellesley College in Massachusetts, and Albany Law School in New York. She was appointed as the District Attorney of Rensselaer County in New York State in June of 2003, and was elected to that position in November of that same year. Prior to that, she held the positions of Deputy District Attorney, Senior Trial Attorney and Bureau Chief of the Special Victims’ Unit, where she prosecuted all cases involving sexual assaults, child sexual abuse, child physical abuse and child homicides. She lectured extensively throughout the United States to prosecutors and law enforcement on the investigation and prosecution of child abuse, domestic violence and homicide cases. As an expert in these areas, she appeared weekly on Fox National News' morning show, America’s Newsroom, as a legal commentator, and has done legal analysis for other media outlets, including CNN, MSNBC, ABC’s Good Morning America and The Early Show on CBS. Prior to teaching at SUNY Delhi, Professor DeAngelis taught courses at Albany Law School, Albany College of Pharmacy, and Hudson Valley Community College.
Richard Golding, Full-time Hospitality Faculty and Advisor
Richard Golding has 50 years of Hospitality experience in hotel, resort, food and beverage, and private club management environments. He has worked for Morton’s of Chicago, The Steak House in Philadelphia, Pointe Resorts and the Wigwam Resort in Phoenix, the University Club of San Diego, Stewarts Shops in Albany and Saratoga, NY, as well as the Desmond Hotel and Conference Center. He has served as a Food and Beverage Director, Hotel Manager, and Human Resources Director. He has been a professor at SUNY Delhi for fourteen years. Having grown up in the Capitol District he has a wealth of knowledge of the community. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration and is completing his Masters Degree in Labor and Policy Studies at Empire State College in Saratoga Springs, NY.
Paul D. Rogan, Full-time Criminal Justice Faculty
Paul D. Rogan graduated from Hobart College with a Degree in Philosophy and a Minor in Education. He received his Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School. While in Law School he represented disabled clients in both civil and criminal matters as a legal intern with the Disabilities Law Clinic of Albany Law School. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association as well as the Criminal Justice Educators Association of New York.
Paul has extensive experience practicing law in numerous state and local courts. He has represented clients regarding many different civil and criminal matters. He has been teaching on the college level for over 13 years both in the class room and online. His courses taught have included numerous criminal justice classes as well as constitutional law and business law.
Tracey Caponera, Remote Assistant Professor - teaching ONLINE courses
Tracey Caponera has an extensive background in hospitality operations and sales with Hyatt Hotels, Marriott, Sheraton and independent hotels such as the Albany Desmond and the Mirror Lake Inn Resort and Spa in Lake Placid. She also has over 10 years of teaching experiences in a variety of settings with a focus on the achievement of learning objectives through the use of relevant and real life situations.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Service Management from Rochester Institute of Technology, a B.A. from Niagara University, an A.A.S. from Paul Smith’s College and is certified in Hospitality Sales through the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International. Tracey is currently pursuing her PhD in Education, Specializing in Training and Development through North Central University. In addition, Tracey is a consultant for a hospitality and restaurant consulting business, Harvest America with Chef Paul Sorgule formerly with Paul Smith's College and New England Culinary Institute.
