I hope to secure a strong foundation for my family; on which behalf, I returned to school for in the first place. I am the proud father of five and grandfather of nine. I earned my GED in 1994; eleven years later in 2005, I received a flyer in the mail from S.C.C.C. and began my pursuit for a college degree. During the two years that it took me to obtain my Associate in Applied Science in Business Administration; I served as freshman and senior senator, treasurer and chairman of the athletic board for the Student Government Association. I played one semester on the men’s basketball team and served as a member and vice-president of the Business & Law Club. I graduated from S.C.C.C. in May of 2007. I enrolled in Delhi for the following spring. I made the Dean’s List for the first time in the spring 2009 semester. In that semester, I also earned a certificate from the National Restaurant Association Solutions for mastering the competencies in Human Resources Management and Supervision in the ManageFirst Program. After I graduate in December, I would like to continue my education and pursue a Master’s Degree. I also would like to start a not-for-profit organization that offers free services to other non-profit organizations.

I am Justine Mongillo. I am currently employed at Saratoga Gaming and Raceway. I have worked in the hospitality industry for almost 10 years. I started my career at The Glen Sanders Mansion. Brad Harkness is currently earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Technology Management at SUNY Delhi. He graduated from Scotia-Glenville High School in 2005 then went on to attend Siena College and SCCC where he earned an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration. He transferred into the SUNY Delhi Business Program in January of 2008. Brad is a member of the Delhi DICE business team and his experiences at SUNY Delhi have been greatly rewarding. He believes that the students learn valuable information from the classes at Delhi because of the integration of current events with the professor’s lessons and also classroom discussions between students and their professors during lectures. Some of the classes which he is currently taking include Strategic Management, Risk Management and Financial Management. Brad plans to graduate next May, 2010 and then go on to earn an MBA. On days when Brad is not attending class, he works at Hannaford in Glenville as a Pharmacy Technician.
