2) "Out On A Limb", A documentary by Daria Price

This film explores an intriguing science that is changing what it means to lose a limb—not just for the thousands of casualties of recent wars, but for the millions of civilians who lose limbs to such common diseases as diabetes.

Off site faculty and staff are invited to participate in the Common Hour program "Out On A Limb," from 12:30 to 1:45 on Thursday, October 17. Filmmaker Daria Price will discuss revolutionizing prosthetics from the lab to the bodies of amputees.
