Bachelor Degree Program Summary
The Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree program in Golf Course Management is designed to prepare future management personnel for the growing number of golf courses in the region and the nation. This program is unique and the only program in the Northeast that is designed so that students develop skills in the science of turfgrass management as well as become proficient in the business and communications aspects of the job. Our curriculum is intended to give students extensive hands-on experience in the classroom, laboratory, as well as working on our 18-hole golf course or numerous athletic fields. Additionally, students gain credits and invaluable paid working experience during four required summer internships at facilities across the country. This allows students to seamlessly transfer into turfgrass management careers upon graduation. Currently, SUNY Delhi graduates have a 100% placement rate and are working at some of the country’s most prestigious properties around the world.
