Admissions Requirements

As a Freshman Student:

Academic entrance Requirements

• Minimum 80 high school average
• 3 units of English
• 3 units of Social Science
• 2 units of Math
• 2 units of Science (Biology is recommended)

Recommended: Minimum SAT score of 950 and an on campus interview.

Transfer Academic Entrance Requirements

The PGM Program at SUNY Delhi is designed as a freshman entry program.  Transfer students will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis and will be counseled as to the cost and time involved in completion of the program.  If admitted, transfer students will be required to complete all requirements of the PGA/PGM program.

Playing Ability Entrance Requirements
All applicants must have a handicap of 12 or less to be considered for admission to the PGM program.  Handicaps must be verifiable by one of the following three methods;

• an official USGA Handicap Card
• a verification letter by a Class A PGA Professional
• a verification letter by the applicant’s high school golf Coach

NOTE:  The PGM Staff will make every effort to verify each student’s playing ability; applicants producing an official USGA Handicap have the best chance of meeting this requirement.
