David Brower

David C. Brower is an Instructor and Coordinator of Inter-Institutional Programs, where he administers the BBA program in Hospitality Management at Schenectady County Community College. Professor Brower is a Ph.D. student with Capella University in Minneapolis, MN, and received his MBA in Hospitality Administration from the Alan S. Feinstein Graduate School at Johnson & Wales University.  He also holds a BBA and an AAS in Hospitality Management from SUNY Delhi. Professor Brower's teaching centers around hotel operations and computers/information systems management in the hospitality industry.  Specifically, he teaches courses such as hotel and resort operations, lodging accommodations management, hospitality maintenance and engineering, menu planning, and computers for the hospitality industry. His professional background includes numerous operations positions with top hospitality organizations, as well as leadership positions with the Rhode Island Hospitality & Tourism Association, the largest not-for-profit trade association in the state of Rhode Island.
