Michael Barnes

Michael Barnes is an Associate Professor in Hospitality Management.  Mr. Barnes background is in the restaurant/food service industry. After receiving his Master’s from Florida International University in Miami, he worked as a manager for Victoria Station, Chart House, and as a general manager for Bennigan’s and Red Lobster. He started his teaching career at the college level at Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pa. Along with teaching, Michael has managed a yacht club and two golf clubs. He has also managed the Eagles Nest Grille at the Delhi College Golf Club. Michael has a wife, Diana; they have three children, Ryan, Michael and Sara and they reside in Stamford.
