What services are provided if I have a disability?
Students with disabilities have the option to self-identify, and it is advisable to do so at the beginning of the semester. The Coordinator of Access and Equity Services is the designated campus contact for students with disabilities. A self-disclosure form is sent to students with their acceptance letter. To self-identify, complete the form and submit it to the Office of Access and Equity Services at SUNY Delhi, or contact the Delhi Coordinator on your campus.
Services Available On Off-site Campuses
SUNY Delhi's office of Access and Equity Services works closely with all partnership coordinators. A connection needs to be made between yourself, the Delhi Coordinator on your campus and the Coordinator of Access and Equity Services. There are different requirements that the student must follow to obtain services whether the classes are being taken in the classroom or online. If you are taking a class online you must email your professors the appropriate documentation letters to inform them of the accommodations needed. If you are attending classes on campus you must get your letters from the coordinator on your campus and have them signed by all of your professors. These letters need to be given back to the disability coordinator on your campus.
