If you are passionate about business and the culinary arts, then SUNY Delhi’s Restaurant and Food Service Management program is just for you! Restaurant and Food Service Management is all about building a business and guiding its success: it’s all about leadership. At SUNY Delhi, you’ll learn everything you need to know to build a successful career in food service management. You’ll study everything from food preparation and standards to the running of restaurants and food facilities, including such topics as menu planning, purchasing, and marketing. SUNY Delhi stresses the importance of practical, hands-on experience, which you’ll get in the Alumni Hall Hospitality Center. Our center houses a functioning restaurant and banquet hall, where you’ll develop and hone your management skills. There is also a required internship between your first and second years, which will help you grow as a leader and will give you valuable industry connections for the future. Furthermore, SUNY Delhi students are eligible to take part in the renowned, six-month Disney College Program, either during their time at Delhi (as an internship) or immediately after graduation.
