Skills USA Competition

Skills USA prepares America's high performance workers by providing quality education experiences for students in leadership, teamwork, citizenship and character development. The Skills USA Championships are a showcase for the best career and technical students in the nation. Contests begin locally and continue throughout the state and national levels. The philosophy of the Skills USA Championships is to reward students for excellence, to involve industry in evaluating student performance, and to keep training relevant to employers' needs. 2012 Carpentry students John Cusimano placed 1st and Andrew Marsh placed 2nd at the Skills USA post-secondary New York State competition. John eventually placed 10th at the National competition. Congratulations!

In addition to participating at the collegiate level competitions, SUNY Delhi also acts as a host for the high school level Skills USA Championships.
