SUNY Delhi offers an online program in nursing leading to a Master of Science degree (MS) with a focus on nursing administration. Graduates are prepared to fulfill roles as nurse managers or nurse directors in contemporary healthcare settings. This program draws from the disciplines of nursing, business, and other disciplines to position graduates to assume leadership positions in the complex healthcare environment. In addition to preparing nurses to attain administrative positions, the program also provides an excellent foundation for doctoral studies.

Admission Requirements

  • Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited baccalaureate program
  • Undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Unencumbered license to practice as an RN
  • Descriptive Statistics course with a grade of C or better within 10 years
  • Two academic or professional references attesting to the applicant's potential for graduate study
  • 750 - 1,000 word personal statement or essay addressing how graduate education will advance your professional growth
  • Resume or curriculum vitae
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and technical skills
  • One year of full-time employment is strongly encouraged but not required
