Mission and Student Learning Outcomes
The mission of our graduate school is to prepare advanced professional nurses to address the ever-changing and expanding needs of the nursing profession. Graduates will be prepared to function within the educational and practice environment as change agents and leaders who engage in scholarship, research, service, and quality improvement.
- Integrate advanced knowledge, technology, and theories from nursing and related disciplines into the advanced nursing role
- Use scientific inquiry and quality principles to identify problems and apply system-level processes to improve care outcomes
- Apply advanced knowledge of leadership and management to effect change, and influence health policy to transform care delivery systems
- Practice inter-professional collaboration to improve health outcomes in a global population
