Mrs. Brosche has been an ICU nurse since 1987 serving as a clinical head nurse, staff nurse, educator, author, peer reviewer, national presenter, and legal nurse consultant. She received her BSN from Misericordia University and her MSN with a focus in education from Walden University. She has published in AACN News and DCCN and has served as a consultant for RN magazine. She currently has an article in-press that will be published in 2012. She has also written two books: The EKG Handbook (author) and Successful Online Learning (author/editor) and has published a series of online learning modules.  She currently serves on the Va-C Coalition leadership team and is a peer reviewer for Critical Care Nurse. She also works as clinical/lab faculty for an ADN program.

Mrs. Brosche's professional and research interests are in critical care nursing, pathophysiology, health & wellness, cardiology/EKG analysis, and strategies to enhance learning in the online environment as well as facilities and traditional settings. In addition, she is certified by the American Council on Exercise as Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Lifestyle and Weight Management Coach. Within her community, she is involved with the Virginia Action Coalition, and the Future of Nursing Leadership Workgroup as well as a Health Professional Volunteer with the Rappahannock Medical Reserve Corps.
