Theresa Miller, PhD, RN
Dr. Miller has been teaching for eight years, including Med-Surgical nursing, Issues and Trends in Nursing, Management for Nurses, and Nursing Research.
Her clinical interest is Medical-Surgical nursing & substance abuse. Her research interest is qualitative in design and focuses on education strategies, active learning, constructivism theory, and curriculum.
Dr. Miller earned her PhD from Capella University. She holds an MSN in Nursing Education as well as an MHA in Health Administration from St. Joseph's College, and a BSN from St. Francis Medical Center College of Nursing. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau-Tau Omicron chapter, and a member of NLN. She recently participated in a poster presentation of her dissertation: Active Learning: The students' perceptions of active learning.
