Elizabeth Pratt, MSN, RNC
Professor Pratt joined SUNY Delhi's RN to BSN online program in 2009 as adjunct faculty, becoming full time in January 2013. Bringing 23 years of nursing experience and 10 years of education experience, her specialty areas include obstetrics, labor and delivery, post-partum, newborn nursery, community health, health assessment, pharmacology, informatics, pediatrics, clinical calculations, and health promotion. Mrs. Pratt’s teaching experience consists of ADN, RN-BSN, and BSN programs since 2004, teaching in online programs since 2008. She earned an ADN From Louisiana Tech University, a BSN from Grambling University, and an MSN from Walden University.
On campus, Mrs. Pratt is a faculty mentor and is involved with the Assessment Committee and Professional Development Committee. Mrs. Pratt has published on topics of effective communication in the online environment for students, pharmacology, NCLEX review, clinical teaching modules, pediatric care plans, and maternal-newborn nursing care.
Her certifications include National Certification Corporation - Inpatient Obstetric Nurse, as well as Basic Life Support Instructor. Within her community, she volunteers with Girl Scouts and spends her summers working as a camp nurse.
