ContentACADEMIC DISMISSAL INFORMATION FOR SPRING 2008 Information about academic dismissal will be mailed to academically dismissed students on May 28, 2008. There are three different versions of the dismissal letter, depending on the student's status at the start of the spring 2008 semester. Please see the documents below for details. Version #1: Letter from Provost Callas to academically dismissed students who did not meet GPA requirements for the current semester. Version #2: Letter from Provost Callas to academically dismissed students who were accepted back on appeal for the current semester, but did not achieve a semester GPA of 2.0. Version #3: Letter from Provost Callas to academically dismissed students who were accepted back as readmits for the current semester, but did not achieve a semester GPA of 2.0. The following enclosures will be mailed May 28, 2008 to all academically dismissed students. Academic Performance - lists the GPA that qualifies a student for academic dismissal, based on the student's GPA hours. This does not apply to students who were readmitted following an academic dismissal. Those students must achieve a semester GPA of 2.0 in order to avoid dismissal. Appeal Form is in Microsoft Word format. If you send this form as an email file, you must use Microsoft Word. If you do not have access to Microsoft Word on your computer, then you must either fax your appeal, or hand deliver it. The deadline to appeal academic dismissals is 4 pm on Monday, June 9, 2008.
