J-Term Classes: December 22, 2012 - January 23, 2013

• Don't wait to register! Decisions will be made on Friday, December 14, 2012 about which classes will run. The college reserves the right to cancel any course which does not have sufficient enrollment.
  
  
• All January term classes are taught on the internet.
  
  
• Broadband internet access is required – dial-up is not sufficient.
  
  
• Payment in full will be required to register for J-Term classes.
  
  
• No additional financial aid is available for J-Term. If you receive financial aid for J-Term, it will reduce your Spring aid.
  
  
• J-Term runs for 4 weeks. (Full semester classes run 15 weeks.) Students should be prepared to devote 7-8 hours each day to class work to be successful.

Registration Procedures:

Please complete the Registration Form. Hard copy forms are also available in the Office of Records and Registration, 124 Bush Hall. When completing the form, be sure to include the course number, CRN, course title, credit hours, your e-mail address, signature and the date. Full payment is required at the time of registration, which may be completed in one of the following ways:

1. Walk-in registration – Take the completed registration form to the Office of Student Accounts on the first floor of Bush Hall to make payment, between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. from Tuesday, November 13 through Friday, December 21.

2. Fax your registration – Fax your completed registration form, including a credit card number for payment in full, to 607-746-4208, Office of Student Accounts.

Students currently enrolled at SUNY Delhi should contact their academic advisors to confirm that the course they have selected fulfills degree and/or Gen Ed requirements.

Tuition and Fee Schedule:

Part-time tuition in-state or out-of-state (up to 11.99 credits): $696.00 (for each 3 credit hour class)
College fee (up to 11.99 credits): $2.55 (for each 3 credit hour class)
Technology Fee: $42.51 (for each 3 credit hour class)
Transcript Fee: $5.00

Tuition Refund Policy:

1st Week: 100% refund
2nd Week: 25% refund
3rd Week – End of Term: No refund

Withdrawal from J-Term Classes:

The withdrawal deadline for a January term class is 4 pm, Thursday, January 3, 2013.

The Office of Records and Registration, 124 Bush Hall, must receive WRITTEN notification of a student withdrawing from a January term class. Written notification via email to registrar@delhi.edu will be accepted. This procedure also applies to individuals who withdraw from a course prior to the first day of classes. If you register for a course and decide not to take it before it begins, you must contact the Office of Records and Registration in writing to be removed from the course. If you do not officially withdraw from the course, and do not attend the class, you will earn a grade of "F" on your transcript.

Other Information:

• Textbooks may be ordered for January Term classes online through the SUNY Delhi Campus Store. If you have questions, you may call the textbook department of the Campus Store at 607-746-4764.
  
  
• Housing on campus is NOT available during January Term.
  
  
• The Resnick Library will be open Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, January 2-25, with the following exceptions: CLOSED December 22 – January 1 and Monday, January 21.
  
  
• Library catalogs and research databases are available 24x7 on the Library's website. A SUNY Delhi ID number is needed to access Library databases. If you do not already have a SUNY Delhi ID number, your instructor will tell you what it is. Librarians are available on a limited basis during the weekdays by email library@delhi.edu, IM chat, or phone 607-746-4635. Students can also obtain research assistance through “AskUs 24/7” service at any time day or night. Updates to Resnick Library services over J-Term will be posted in Vancko Hall and through student email.
  
  
• The Learning Center will be open Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, January 2-25 with the following exceptions: CLOSED December 22 – January 1 and Monday, January 21.
  
  
• The SUNY Delhi Service Center (Help Desk) will offer limited services December 22, 2012 to January 2, 2013, and will be closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day. During this time period CIS staff will be monitoring both voice mail and email. Please feel free to leave a voice mail at 607-746-4835, or email at helpdesk@delhi.edu. Beginning on January 3, 2013 to January 25, 2013 the Service Center will be open 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. Normal hours will resume on Sunday, January 27.
