Veterinary Science

The proposal to replace COMM 310 Argumentation & Debate with PSYC 300 Organizational Psychology in the BBA for Veterinary Technology Management was approved.

Veterinary Science

The proposal to require Managerial Accounting as a prerequisite for VTEM 310 Veterinary Applications of Financial Planning, Marketing and Strategic Planning was approved.  By including this in the lower level degree it will increase the overall credits of the BBA by three.

The proposal to add a new course VETM 301 Orientation to Online BBA in Veterinary Technology Management to the Veterinary Technology Management Program in online format was approved.  This along with the previous proposal will increase the total credits from 128 to 132.

The proposal to Introduce a new course GMBA 450 Final Internship as required in the BBA in Golf and Sports Turf Management Superintendent Track was approved with the carnegie units changed to 12:0,40.

The proposal to change the required courses for the BBA in Golf and Sports Turf Management Superintendent Track was approved.  This will result in the total credits being reduced from 136 to 133.

The proposal to change the required science course in the Carpentry AAS program from PHYS 150 General Physics to PHYS 150 or SCIE 125 Exploring Physical Science Application was approved.

The proposal to change the number of credits required for the Remodeling/Masonry AOS option from 63 to 62 credits was approved.  This allows more flexibility in the elective area.

The proposal to change the required courses for the Carpentry Certificate from CARP 190 Construction Employment Skills to CARP 240 Advance Framing Skills was approved.

The proposal to change the requirements in the Masonry Certificate from CARP 190 Construction Employment Skills to a free elective was approved.

Liberal Arts & Science

The proposal to change the required courses in the AA in Criminal Justice Studies was approved.  This will give the students more flexibility in choosing courses.

The proposal to add a new course CJUS 200 Topics in Criminal Justice for on campus and online delivery was approved.

 

All above proposals were approved by the College Senate through an e-mail vote consisting of a quorum of Senators.
