Aptitudes, Requirements

Admission Requirements

An incoming student is required to have successfully completed high school Mathematics Course I and II or their equivalent. It is recommended that the student have Course III, Physics , and Computer Aided Drafting. The exit level mathematics requirement for the degree is Pre-Calculus, so that a good mathematics background will be helpful. Students who have completed Pre-Calculus or higher may continue their mathematics sequence at Delhi, or, may elect other mathematics or science courses.

Aptitude

Architectural work is primarily done in an indoor setting but there are also many times when you may be outdoors. Architectural technicians working for Construction Engineering firms may spend considerable time outdoors on a job site. Attention to detail and accuracy is a good trait to possess. Willingness to work on a project at all hours in order to meet a deadline would also be helpful.
