Career Planning is the process of evaluating your interests, abilities, experiences and values.  These personal characteristics play an important role in selecting majors, transfer schools and jobs.  We recommend two comprehensive web sites (below) to help you with your career planning needs.

  Career Cruising is a complete online guidance system designed to help you with your career planning needs.  This site will give you an excellent interest assessment, in-depth occupational profiles, multimedia informational interviews and a comprehensive college and university database.

O*Net is an excellent database of more than 900 occupations, specifying job characteristics and worker skills and abilities.
