Freedom of Information Law 

As a state agency, SUNY Delhi is subject to the Freedom of Information Law. A person, outside agency or group may request information from SUNY Delhi by contacting the Freedom of Information Officer. The request must be in writing and may be submitted in person, via mail or via email. The request should reasonably describe the record or records that are being requested and should provide sufficient detail to enable college staff to locate the records

Under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Law, the college has five business days to grant or deny access in whole or in part, or if more time is needed, to acknowledge the receipt of the request in writing. The acknowledgement must include an approximate date that indicates when the college will grant or deny the request. Fees may be charged for duplication or reproduction.
