State University of New York at Delhi or SUNY Delhi are the official names for the college as recommended by faculty and staff in 2002 and formally adopted by the President’s Cabinet. These are the only two names that should be used when communicating with prospective students, current students and their families, as well as alumni, the community and public officials.
The college name, combined with SUNY Delhi’s emergence as a leader in the State University system, prompted a redesign of the college logo during the 2006-2007 academic year. The logo features ribbons, designed to symbolize the forward motion and momentum SUNY Delhi has achieved. A third color—Delhi Gold—has been added to complement the traditional Delhi Green and White and symbolize achievement.
The SUNY Delhi Graphic Identity Standards Guide has been developed to assist the campus community in using the new logo. Please refer to the graphics standards manual for the best information for using the logo. Logos, and form templates are available for download. Use of the logo by other than authorized college employees is prohibited unless approved in writing by the Director of College Advancement. Authorization and additional information is available by calling the College Advancement Office at 607.746.4520.
