New Smoking Gazebos beginning Fall 2011
Smoking gazebos, conveniently located across the campus, will provide our students, faculty and staff who smoke with a comfortable place to do so, while protecting the rights of non-smokers and reducing the litter normally associated with smoking. Beginning with the start of the Fall 2011 semester, smoking on campus will be restricted to gazebos and parking lots.
CNST 295, "Construction Seminar," is a capstone course where 4th semester AAS students implement skills learned in previous courses. These students, under the supervision of faculty members Floyd Vogt and Jared Yando, have planned, designed and are currently constructing four new smoking gazebos, to be located at Evenden Tower, Clark Field House, Murphy Hall and Russell Hall.
