SUNY Delhi retirees have formed a social organization.  An initial organizational meeting was held on January 13, 2011 and additional meetings were held on . We seek to promote a strong retiree-campus-community connection by linking retirees to opportunities, information, and resources that enhance their retirement.  

Some things the retiree organization may be doing include:

• Social functions
• Tours and travel
• Newsletters/website
• University History
• Public school support
• Speakers bureau
• Educational programs for members
• Retirement assistance 
• Student/faculty/staff mentoring/advising (some interest)
• Serving as consultants to administration
• Participating in commencement
• Assisting at special events, e.g. opening day
• Being involved in College's 100th birthday celebration.

All retirees (SUNY, CADI, etc. plus partners and spouses) are welcome to participate.
