The Office of Institutional Research (OIR) provides valid and reliable data to current students, faculty, staff and offices at SUNY Delhi, to the System Administration Office of SUNY, the State of New York, and to the Federal Government, and to parents and prospective students.

Organization and Services Offered

Institutional Research reports to the Dean of Enrollment Services and provides three primary functions.

• Prepares and submits required reports to the Federal Government, New York State Education Department, and State University of New York.
• Responds to external institutional data requests, including surveys intended for public distribution and publication.
• Responds to internal requests for enrollment and institutional data.

The submission of required reports is the responsibility of the Director of Institutional Research who also serves as Registrar and Director of Records and Registration. All other requests should be directed to the Dean of Enrollment Services.

Confidentiality

OIR assures complete confidentiality of all data, including: survey data, data drawn from Banner or data from the SUNY records. When possible, survey respondents are guaranteed anonymity, but are always guaranteed confidentiality.
