Transfer Credit

Direct Transfer of College Credit
SUNY Delhi awards transfer credit for courses with a C or better from other accredited institutions after receipt of an official college transcript. A maximum of 60 hours may be applied toward a Bachelor's degree, 30 toward an Associate degree and 15 toward a Certificate. Official transcripts should be sent directly to:

Advanced Placement
If you earn a 3 or better on the AP exam and send us an original score report, Delhi will give you college credit for corresponding courses.

College Level Examination Program (CLEP)
Delhi students who have acquired knowledge in nontraditional ways may demonstrate their academic achievement by taking a subject-based CLEP exam. Students interested in the CLEP option should contact the appropriate division dean.

Credit by Examination (CBE)
A student who has enrolled at SUNY Delhi and believes that s/he has mastered course content is eligible to apply for and receive credit by examination. Please see your academic dean for further information.

Credit by High School Articulation
Students may apply for and be awarded credit (15 credit maximum) through approved secondary school articulated agreements. Contact the Career Development Office for more information.
