

Co-Rec Doubles Golf Tournament Rules
I. Format
A. The tournament will take place on the front nine of The College Golf Course at Delhi. The competition will be a two (2) person scramble, where each team member tees off in random order. Decide which shot is the better ball, and both play from that point. Continue this procedure until the ball is holed.
B. Participants may lift, clean and place the ball everywhere on the course within one distance of one club length. However, the ball may not be placed closer to the hole.
C. There will be one or two divisions, depending on the number of entries. There will be a men's division, and if there are enough male/female teams, a co-ed division. PGM Students and Varsity Team Members are allowed to participate, however, they are only allowed to have one of either per team, and they will play with a handicap.
D. Ladies will tee off from the Red Tees. Gentlemen will tee of from the White Tees.
E. There will be a Longest Drive Contest on the Par 5, Hole #9, as well as a Closest to the Pin Contest on the Par 3, Hole #2.
F. Tie Breaker: All ties will be settled by a match of score cards following the completion of play.
G. A complete rules sheet will be distributed to all participants on the day of the event.
II. Date and Time
A. The Co-Rec Doubles Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, October 5, 2009.
B. Tee times will be determined following the captain's meeting and will be based upon the number of teams entered.
C. Participants are asked to be at The College Golf Course at Delhi fifteen (15) minutes prior to their scheduled tee time.
III. Cost and Prizes
A. Participants interested in using a cart will be charged $16 if they are a non-member, and $8 if they are a member. Participants that are interested in walking will be charged $8 if they are a non-member, and $0 if they are a member.
B. The winning team/s will receive Intramural Championship T-shirts, as will the winners of the Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin Contests. The College Golf Course at Delhi will also be giving away prizes, which will depend on the number of teams entered.
