The Broncos Women’s Golf team competes in the NAIA in both the fall and spring semesters. The team usually competes in four-seven events each semester, playing primarily against NCAA Division II and III schools. The team also travels south during the winter break for a spring tune-up.
Tom Philion, PGA member and Director of the Professional Golf Management Program, has recently taken over as Head Coach, and although the program has experienced a start-stop history recently, hiring a full-time faculty member as head coach promises to bring stability to the program.
The Broncos' home course is the College Golf Course at Delhi, a par 72, 18-hole championship course that will test all your skills. On campus, SUNY Delhi boasts an Indoor Practice Facility and a Swing Analysis Lab, where state-of-the-art technology (swing analysis software, launch monitor, etc.) can be applied to assist in player development.
