OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety Training
Dates pending
Effective July 18, 2008 all workers on public works projects of $250,000 or higher must be certified as having completed a 10-hour U.S. Department of Labor OSHA-approved safety course. This requirement must be met by everyone contracted to do work on the project, and training must be completed prior to beginning work on that project.
Our Professional OSHA authorized trainer is approved by the Occupational Safety & Health Administration's (OSHA) Outreach Training division to deliver the OSHA 10-hour Construction Outreach Training.
The 10-hour course covers certain OSHA-mandated topics, such as an overview of OSHA, how to locate specific OSHA regulations, requirements for personal protective equipment (PPE), a basic overview of electrical safety, and working surfaces/fall protection.
All trainees who complete the 10-hour course will receive a 10 Hour Training Certificate plus the official OSHA 10 hour wallet card to certify they successfully completed the course. Must attend both days.
