One-Day:
Fundamentals Training and One-Day Inspections Training of Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems 

This course will provide you with an introduction to the biology of wastewater treatment, system design, system components, the importance of soil classification, recognizing system failures, and the technologies available to avoid pollution in an abridged form. All individuals with an interest in onsite wastewater treatment will benefit from this course. All materials provided.

Soil Analysis for Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems 

This course gives you guidelines for making soil evaluations and other field investigations for onsite septic systems. Extensive discussions include soil physical characteristics, test-pit analysis, percolation tests, liquid flow in soils, seasonal water tables, soil terminology and data collection.

Inspection of Existing Residential Wastewater Treatment Systems  

You will gain the basic skills required to conduct inspections and report findings with the use of standardized forms. This course explains the inspection process and determining functionality of conventional, alternative and home-made systems and equipment. You will be assigned an OTN inspection registration number and get forms that will set you apart from your competition. (Earn 8 Contact Hours)

You'll gain knowledge in the complete installation process,
how to better redesign plans, achieve more successful installations, while learning the essentials of installation requirements, installation tips and ways to avoid problems. You will receive a training registration number.

Small Scale Onsite Wastewater System Design I

DAY ONE: How to design new conventional, alternative and enhanced residential onsite systems.  Site evaluation techniques to avoid failures.  Regulatory requirements for design plan approvals.  A structured approach to design elements.  Obtain the OTN Design check list based DOH Design Handbook.

DAY TWO: Exercises to apply important design concepts.  Obtain the OTN Site Evaluation Guide.  Recommended prerequisites: OTN Fundamentals and Soil Analysis.

This special two-day program combines an accelerated Fundamentals of Onsite Wastewater Treatment training
