ContentOther ServicesVending You're in your dorm room and hunger hits! It's not time for a meal, so now what? Don't worry, we've got you covered! It's time to hit one of the vending machines (not literally of course). CADI provides a wide variety of vending services on campus. You can find vending machines in residence halls, student activity areas and in academic buildings. A wide variety of items are sold in the machines including candy, snacks, soda, juices and other popular items. The machine stole your money! The snack got caught in the machine! No need to fear, you can make a request for a refund and/or service on any vending machine in the College Association office which is located in 141 Sanford Hall. Enjoy your snack! Student Health Insurance Don't have health insurance coverage? Don't panic, CADI administers a Student Accident and Health Insurance plan! College policy requires all students to be covered under a health insurance policy equivalent or better to the Student Accident and Health Insurance plan. Still covered under your parent's plan? That's cool! Covered through your employer? That's cool too! However, if you don't have any outside health insurance coverage, College policy requires you to purchase this insurance. All students are automatically billed for this insurance (as a courtesy, just in case you don't have any insurance). If you have equivalent or better health insurance coverage through an outside source, please complete and return the waiver card found in your SUNY Delhi billing package and return it to student accounts (157 Bush Hall). Once your completed waiver card is received, the fee for the student health insurance will be removed from your bill. IMPORTANT, IMPORTANT, IMPORTANT! You only have the first 30 days of the fall semester to cancel your student health insurance, so make sure you return your waiver card ASAP. If you don't cancel it during the first 30 days the fee automatically becomes your responsibility, as we've already paid for it for you. Please, please, please, if you have equivalent health insurance turn in your waiver card. It will save you hundreds of dollars, and what college student can't use an extra couple hundred dollars! The plan protects students enrolled in the plan at home, on campus or wherever they may be, 24 hours per day while coverage is in effect. Benefits under this plan are paid in addition to any benefits to which a student may be entitled under any other policy. For furhter information regarding the plan, or to pick up claim forms once enrolled, stop in the CADI office, 141 Sanford Hall during normal business hours. How many days do you have to turn in your waiver card? If you guessed 30 you are absolutely correct! |
