Student Health Insurance
Don't have health insurance coverage? Don't panic, CADI administers a Student Accident and Health Insurance plan! College policy requires all full-time students attending classes at SUNY Delhi to be covered under a health insurance policy equivalent or better then the Student Accident and Health Insurance plan. Part-time students taking over six (6) credits may enroll in the plan voluntarily. Still covered under your parent's plan? That's cool! Covered through your employer? That's cool too! However, if you don't have any outside health insurance coverage, College policy requires you to purchase this insurance.
All students are automatically billed for this insurance. If you have equivalent or better health insurance coverage through an outside source, you must complete the on-line waiver form found at https://studentcenter.uhcsr.com/delhi. Once completed correctly, you will receive an acknowledgement, after which the fee will be romoved from your bill within 24 hours.
IMPORTANT, IMPORTANT, IMPORTANT! You only have the first 30 days of the fall semester to cancel your student health insurance, so make sure you waive it on-line ASAP. Learn how... Watch Demo Video!
If you don't cancel it during the first 30 days the fee automatically becomes your responsibility, as we've already paid for it for you.
The plan protects students enrolled in the plan at home, on campus or wherever they may be, 24 hours per day while coverage is in effect. Benefits under this plan are paid in addition to any benefits to which a student may be entitled under any other policy. If you would like further information regarding the plan simply stop in the CADI office, 230 Farrell Hall, during normal business hours and we will be happy to supply you with a plan brochure.
You may have noticed a $15 printing fee included on you bill. This fee entitles you to print academic materials in the computer labs.
