Diversity and Inclusion Grant Program

Do you have an idea for a project or program that will support the goal of creating a campus of inclusive excellence? Diversity and Inclusion Grants are designed to help support programs developed by students, faculty and staff that embrace diversity and inclusion. Applications are welcome for programs that inform and teach about the importance of diversity and inclusion, social justice, equity, disabilities, multicultural competence and other related topics.

Eligibility

Students, faculty and staff are eligible to apply. A limited number of grants of up to $500 are available during the Spring 2018 semester.

Applications should address one of SUNY Delhi’s Strategic Goals:

• Student Opportunity
• Faculty and Staff Excellence
• Community Connections

Resource Development

Examples of possible Diversity & Inclusion Grants include: training, workshops, guest speakers, printed or electronic resources, symbolic gatherings, art or film presentations. Projects funded must be completed by June 30, 2018.

Selection Process

• Submit completed application to Lawrence Mannolini, mannollp@delhi.edu, 220 Farrell Center. Applications will be reviewed by a subcommittee of the SUNY Delhi Diversity Advisory Council. Any questions can be directed to Lawrence Mannolini at 607-746-4567, or the above email address.
• Review process will be implemented as applications are received. You will be notified of your outcome via email.
• The application process will remain open until all funds have been depleted.
