On Saturday, September 24th SUNY Delhi’s Family Day will delight everyone together with Nothing But A Party! You won’t want to miss this memorable event which takes place both on and around our beautiful campus. Please note several changes that have been made to the overall schedule based on the feedback we have received from the many families who have attended. These changes are that Brooks Barbeque will be served throughout the day, from noon until 4:00 pm so that families can eat at their leisure in either the Farrell Commons, or MacDonald Dining Center. In addition, this year’s main attraction, The Golden Dragon Acrobats and Magicians of China will begin their show at 4:30 pm in order to better accommodate those families who want to get an earlier start home. There will also be an optional later event beginning at 8 pm for those who wish to stay later.

The College and local community will be hopping. Back by popular demand will be Snakes Alive Reptile Show, and World Trick Shot Billiards Champion, the Cruise In Car Show, and Tom “Dr. Cue” Rossman. New to this year’s schedule will be the Stars and Stripes NASCAR Race Simulator, Family Custom Apparel, and Picture Yourself. Enjoy our state-of-the-art fitness center and Olympic-size pool. There’s something for everyone. Take a horse drawn wagon ride, shuttle and shop at the Delhi Community Harvest Festival, or visit the Delaware County Historical Society Quilt Show. Most of the action starts at 10 am and concludes around 6:00 pm. The internationally acclaimed The Golden Dragon Acrobats and Magicians of China will be performing this year at 4:30 pm. Wrap up your evening with an amazing audience participation show from world famous psychic entertainer Robert Channing.

*Please note: Family Day ticket prices include the very popular Brook’s chicken barbeque, all activities and entertainment (except golf) and shuttle service. Family Day sells out annually. Advance reservations are required and must be made by Friday, September 16th. SUNY Delhi students whose families have purchased tickets can use their meal plan for the barbeque and The Golden Dragon Acrobats and Magicians of China show. Barbeque tickets and wristbands, needed for entrance to many of the day's events, will be held in your student's name at the check in table. Check in will last from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the Agora (between Bush and Farrell Halls). Check in early to make the most of all the action!
