Access to our walk-in medical clinic during business hours, and consultation with Registered Nurses for assessment, treatment and/or referral to Nurse Practitioners or College Physician.

     Also included: 

• Over-the-counter medications for approximately 1-3 days per illness.
• Certain prescription medicines, when prescribed by the college physician or nurse practitioners.
• Gynecologic and STD examinations, excluding lab fees.
• Administration of prescribed allergy injections.
• Follow-up care of students with chronic health problems as directed by their physicians (i.e., diabetes, asthma).
• Crutches, canes, slings, etc. are available on loan.
• Confidential HIV testing.
• Self-care center

Services Not Included in the Health Fee

The student will be responsible for these expenses and for billing insurance:

• Emergency room and hospital charges - (Be aware that your insurance may not cover expenses unless the visit is for an emergency)
• Physician visits other than the college physicians at Health Services
• Ambulance services
• X-rays, lab tests and prescription drugs not covered under the health fee
• Dental coverage
• Eye exams/glasses
• Immunizations
• Laboratory Services
