HIV Testing
Confidential HIV test appointments are available during the academic year. There are two choices for testing:  1.  A finger stick blood test, done at Health Services, for a small fee with results in 20 minutes or 2.  A venipuncture blood test that is sent to a laboratory and billed to insurance that takes several days for results.

If you would like to make an appointment for testing, come to Health Services or call 607 746-4690 and tell the person who answers the phone that you are calling for an HIV Test appointment.  You will be connected to the nurse to make the appointment.  You will need to give this nurse your name and a telephone number.  You may also come in to the Health Service to schedule an appointment.

New York State requires that you receive certain information prior to and after testing.

Additional protections for your privacy can be detailed during your appointment.

Results are ONLY given in person, NEVER over the telephone.

There is obviously a finite number of appointments available each semester. As a courtesy to your fellow students, please call if need to cancel and/or reschedule your appointment as far in advance as possible.
