Gynecologic Clinic and Birth Control Services
GYN clinic visits are by appointment. Nurse practitioners are on staff for this service. GYN and women's health services are available throughout the week and students with acute problems can expect to receive evaluation and treatment as needed.

All women requesting to initiate birth control must have an evaluation at Health Services and appropriate testing as needed.
GYN exams are free. There is a fee for laboratory tests that can be billed to insurance or billed as a self-pay at a reduced cost.
Women beginning oral contraceptives may purchase up to a one year supply. Several brands of oral contraceptives are available. The Nuva Ring may also be available.
The OrthoEvra Patch may be prescribed. Depo-Provera injections may be administered.
If desired, a prescription for various birth control options may be written and filled at a local pharmacy.
