Starting on November 1st, 2013, SUNY Delhi and Residence Life will be working with a new vendor to provide zero-sort recycling campus wide. Zero-sort recycling allows the consumer to put trash in one container and all recyclable items in another. Not only does this program create more ease on the consumer by eliminating the need to sort recyclables into different bins, it also allows for the recycling of a wider range of items.
Over the next several months, students will notice changes in the labeling of recycling bins in both their residence hall rooms and in trash/recycling rooms. If you have questions about zero-sort, please contact your Residence Hall Director or the Office of Residence Life.
