Important Change to Financial Aid/College Refunds
Effective January 2015, SUNY Delhi will be changing the way we process student refunds. We are partnering with Higher One®, a financial services company focused solely on higher education to bring a new method for receiving refunds to all Delhi students — the Delhi Access Card.
Your student’s new Delhi Access Card will be mailed to their current permanent address on file with the college during winter break (around the end of December). Therefore, it is critical that they verify their mailing address as soon as possible.
Students should activate their card as soon as they receive it or they may risk a delay in receiving any refunds due to them.
Simply put, the new Delhi Access Card is designed to provide students with increased choices for Financial Aid or college refunds. These options include:
- A same day deposit to the OneAccount, an FDIC Insured, no monthly fee, no minimum balance checking account. With the OneAccount, they receive funds the same day they’re released by Higher One—the easiest and fastest choice available.
- A direct deposit into an existing checking or savings account.
- A paper check
Remember, even if your student is not currently expecting a refund from SUNY Delhiwe may have a refund for them in the future. Students should be on the lookout for their Delhi Access Card and activate it when it arrives.
If you’re not sure that SUNY Delhi has your student’s current permanent
mailing address, please have them take a moment to visit BroncoWeb to view their address information today. Once logged in to BroncoWeb, click on “Personal Information” Tab, then click “View Addresses and Phones”. Your student can make any changes necessary by selecting the "Update Addresses and Phones" link. For detailed instructions on how to update the address see the online tutorial
You can visit www.DelhiAccessCard.com
to learn more about all the great benefits that accompany the all-new Delhi Access Card. For more information, please contact Student Financial Services at 607-746-4570 or firstname.lastname@example.org
