Dear Parents & Families,

Welcome
The start of the new year has brought winter to Delhi! We hope you have been enjoying time with your student this holiday season. The Spring semester is about to start with classes beginning on Monday, January 25. Helpful dates for this semester including breaks and academic deadlines can be found on the College Calendar page.
Welcome New Students!
New Student Orientation is set for Saturday, January 23 & Sunday, January 24. Residence halls open for new students on Saturday, January 23 at 10:00am. Orientation weekend provides important information relevant to your student’s success, including campus and academic policies, advisor meetings, information on student support services, sessions on campus life and of course fun! Visit the Orientation webpage for a schedule of events. Need overnight accommodations? Please visit the Parents & Families page.
Special Needs
If your son or daughter has any special counseling or health needs, be sure to contact Counseling & Health Services at 607-746-4690 and speak with a member of the counseling or medical staff.
Returning Student Newsletter
All of the important information your student needs to know has been sent via the Returning Student Newsletter through their Daily Student Email. The newsletter can also be found on the Current Student page. You and your student should review this newsletter to be sure all items for returning students have been taken care of. Residence Halls open for returning students on Sunday, January 24 at 12:00noon.
Accept Charges Survey
The Accept Charges Survey for Spring 2016 must be completed by ALL STUDENTS including on-campus, commuters, off-site and on-line students via Bronco Web. When your student logs in to Bronco Web after Monday, January 11, they will be presented with a survey that requires them to accept charges, thereby acknowledging they are attending the Spring 2016 term.
** Failure to respond to the Accept Charges Survey may result in your student’s schedule being removed as a “No Show”.
** The deadline to complete the Accept Charges Survey is Thursday, January 28 at 4:30pm.
Meal Plans for Off-Campus & On-Campus Students
Students who live off-campus are not automatically enrolled or billed for a meal plan for the spring semester. Students who had a meal plan in the fall and do not purchase a plan for the spring will not have access to any leftover Bronco Bucks. They must add a dining plan for the spring semester through the Student Housing Management Access System to have that balance rollover. Find more information about off-campus dining plans here. On-campus students will be billed for the same dining plan they had in the fall semester. Plans can be changed up until Friday, Feb 5 at 4:00pm through the Student Housing Management Access System.
Pre-Pack Textbook Program
Barnes & Noble staff will pre-package all the books and supplies you need for the semester. It’s easy, and saves time! Order online through the Barnes & Noble College Bookstore. Choose “pick up at the store” and your order will be waiting when you arrive on campus. Barnes & Noble offers competitive pricing and guarantees correct course materials. Call or email Julia and Kyrra at 607-746-4760 or sm565@bncollege.com with any questions or for assistance in placing your order.
Students Not Returning
If your student does not plan on returning for the Spring 2016 semester, please have them contact the Registrar’s Office 607-746-4560; registrar@delhi.edu and Student Financial Services 607-746-4570; financialaid@delhi.edu as soon as possible.

Please visit our Parent and Families webpage and Campus Link e-News which features new issues monthly. For general questions please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions or Quick References websites. Feel free to call the Parent Help Line at (607) 746-4505 for any additional information.
We look forward to seeing your student in a few short weeks! Save travels as they may their way to campus.

Sincerely,

Barbara E. Jones
