How do I put a PowerPoint presentation WITHOUT Animations into a content module?
How to convert PowerPoint to html
- Open the PowerPoint file.
- Click on File, and drag down to Save as Web page
- Click on Publish
- Under Browser support, select Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0, Netscape Navigator 3.0, or later
- Click on Publish.
- When prompted to save changes, click Yes.
Note: You should notice than when the file is saved as html, an html file (for example, chapter1.html) is created, and, also a folder (for example, chapter1_files) is created. You will need both!
How to upload the folder and file to WebCT
- Use WinZip to zip up the html file AND the related folder. (See p. 41 in the “Adding Content in WebCT” section of the training manual).
- Upload the zip file to WebCT. (See p. 47 in the “Adding Content in WebCT” section of the training manual).
