Copyright Act
Users of the College's computer
systems should be aware of their responsibilities under the
Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
Users who violate copyright laws or repeatedly violate the
provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act may have their
computer access accounts revoked, as described in the College's
Computer Usercode Agreement.
Copyright owners who believe that their rights have been
infringed upon by a user of the College's computer network should
submit a notification of claimed infringement to the designated
agent of the College:

A proper notification of claimed infringement must include
the following:

the name, address, and electronic
signature of the complaining party

sufficient information to identify
the copyrighted work or works,
-
the infringing matter and its
location,
-
the originating IP address within
Delhi College's
Class B address space
(137.124.x.x),
-
a statement by the owner that it
has a good faith belief that there is no legal basis for the use of
the materials, and
-
a statement of the accuracy of the
notice and, under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is
authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
