Classroom Training

SUNY Delhi is pleased to offer the following non-credit courses to meet training requirements and develop skills.  We are committed to help individuals upgrade job-related skills, learn new skills, increase professional performance, and for purposes of personal development.

Photovoltaics (PV) Design & Installation Basics: June 2-6, 2008 The New York Energy Research and Development Agency (NYSERDA) and the Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC) in cooperation with SUNY Delhi is pleased to offer a five day course designed for those who have an interest in PV and want to learn how to design and install a PV system.  Typically, the background and experience of each participant can vary significantly.  We endeavor to make this course meaningful to all who attend, from the homeowner looking to make an informed decision, to the tradesman who wants to install a PV system. Quilting in the Catskills with Deb Tucker: June 15-17, 2008
Deb Tucker has worked as a pattern editor for "Quilting Today" and "Traditional Quiltworks".  She is a knowlegeable instructor with much to offer.  Available projects are Dizzy Geese in the Leaves and Rapid Fire Hunter Star.  Class limit 24. ServSafe Food Safety Certification: June 9, 2008 or June 21, 2008
The ServSafe Food Safety Certification Program is the most widely accepted food safety program among local, state and federal health departments and is valid for five years.  Brochure (pdf)
