FOUNDATIONS AND SOIL ANALYSIS for Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems

This special two-day program combines an accelerated Foundations of Onsite Wastewater Treatment training
with Soil Analysis for Onsite Wastewater training. To receive 15 contact hours, complete attendance is required.

Inspection of Existing Residential Wastewater Treatment Systems

You will gain the basic skills required to conduct inspections and report findings with the use of standardized forms. This course explains the inspection process and determining functionality of conventional, alternative and home-made systems and equipment. You will be assigned an OTN inspection registration number and get forms that will set you apart from your competition. (Earn 8 Contact Hours)

Note: Training courses are certified by NY Board of Education for Professional Engineers, Contractors; DOS certified for CEOs; and DEC certified for Wastewater Operators)

Alternative Onsite Wastewater Treatment Technology Training and Project Tour

This two day training teaches design, construction, and operation of alternative wastewater system technologies including factory tour of Roth Global Plastics.  Day two provides a field tour of Skaneateles Lake Demonstration Project, witnessing maintenance procedures while learning about:

Textile/Peat filter/Bottomless Sand Filters
Aerocell Foam Cubes, Eljen In-Drain, Drip Irrigation
Fusion Series Treatment Systems
Shallow Pressure Dosed Trenches

Soil Analysis for Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems

This course gives you guidelines for making soil evaluations and other field investigations for onsite septic systems.  Extensive discussions include soil physical characteristics, test-pit analysis, percolation tests, liquid flow in soils, seasonal water tables, soil terminology and data collection.
(Earn 7.5 Contact Hours)

Installation of Residential Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems 

You'll gain knowledge in the complete installation process,
how to better redesign plans, achieve more successful installations, while learning the essentials of installation requirements, installation tips and ways to avoid problems. You will receive a training registration number.
