File your FAFSA

NOW is the time to file your 2008-2009 FAFSA!

Follow these easy steps:

Find your federal PIN number
- Can't find your PIN, can't remember it or don't have one? Go to www.pin.ed.gov and follow the directions.
- Your parent will need a PIN also.
Gather the following information:
- Your social security card
- Your parent's social security card
- 2007 Federal income tax returns for your parent(s) and you (if you filed)
- 2007 W-2's for your parents and for you if you worked.
- Your and your parents most recent saving/checking statement
- Documentation of any untaxed income you and your parents received in 2007. Some examples of untaxed income are workers compensation, disability, and social securtiy benefits.
File the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.ed.gov as soon as you have the needed information listing SUNY Delhi's federal school code, 002857. Print out the Pre-Application Worksheet if you want to fill out a paper guide, Remember to use your and your parent's PIN as electronic signatures.
If you cannot file online, you can order a paper FAFSA by calling 1-800-4FEDAID. SUNY Delhi does not have paper FAFSAs.
