SUNY Delhi Professor's Woodworking Book Appeals to Students and Beginners Alike

April 7, 1008, Delhi, N.Y. ... Professor Nancy Macdonald set out to write a textbook on woodworking for students, but the result of her efforts was a user-friendly, comprehensive guide that hit the mark for students that was equally appealing to woodworking beginners and aspiring cabinetmakers. Macdonald's book, Woodworking, is an 800-page text with full color photos and illustrations that will be released mid-April 2008 by CENGAGE Delmar Learning. Read the full story


SUNY Delhi Students Awared Scholarships from Long Island Golf Course Superintendents Association  

April 03, 2008, Delhi, N.Y. ... Three SUNY Delhi students were awarded scholarships from an endowment established at the college by the Long Island Golf Course Superintendents Association (Long Island GCSAA). Ryan Abbate, a golf course superintendent major from Sayville, and Kevin Anderson, a golf course operations major from Oyster Bay, each received $1,000, and Eric Newell, a golf course superintendent major from Melville, received $750. Friends Exhibit to Open at SUNY Delhi

February 20 , 2008 , Delhi, N.Y. … An exhibit that poignantly portrays the unintended consequences of drinking and driving will be on display on the SUNY Delhi campus from February 25 to April 2, 2008. “Friends–One Day, One Wrong Turn” honors the lives of four college students who were killed as a result of a drunken-driving accident on the Colgate campus in Hamilton on November 11, 2000. SUNY Delhi Adds Business Management to Four-Year Degree Options at Schenectady County Community College

January 07 , 2008 , Delhi, N.Y. … SUNY Delhi will begin offering a four-year degree in Business Management this fall as part of the college’s Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) program at Schenectady County Community College.
