INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS

ENROLLED IN SUNY DELHI INTERNET COURSES USING
SUNY LEARNING NETWORK (SLN)

Although most online courses at SUNY Delhi are offered using WebCT, some courses are taught using the SUNY Learning Network (SLN). These courses do not function in the same way as WebCT courses with respect to logins, passwords, etc...

First, you must have added the course to your roster through the SUNY Delhi Office of the Registrar. (607-746-4665)

Next, to enter a course on SLN, go to the SUNY Learning Network (SLN) at: http://sln.suny.edu/tys

You will see a system test, which tells you if you have an appropriate browser for using the SLN system. If you pass, you can take the next step: "yes, create account"

You will then need to go through the process of setting up your own account, selecting
Course Type: SLN (Fully asynchronous distance learning courses that are offered entirely online.)
Select the College: Delhi / College of Technology

You will then see a list of courses and find your course listed, and scroll down to answer all questions to set up your account.

Summary:
Every student who enrolls on campus for an SLN delivered course, must also enroll for that course through SLN. That is, you must go to SLN, find the campus, then course, then course section and enroll with an SLN user name and password. This ID is generated and maintained by SLN not Delhi. If you do not already have a SLN login you must create an account through SLN.
