College Senate Minutes January 28, 2008

Meeting called to order by Presider, Julee Miller

Quorum established at 4:20 p.m.

Present: Sean Babcock, Steve Dixon, Joan Erickson, Terry Hamblin, Ursula Herz, Kim MacLeod, Leslie Mokay, Kathleen Ogborn, Marsha Stock, John Taylor, Jack Tessier, Carolyn Tolley, Mary Wake, Linda Weinberg

Absent:  Kathryn DeZur, Donna Dougherty, Douglas Dune, Linnea Goodwin Burwood, Lori Osterhoudt, Mike Spisto, Jeff Stedman,

The minutes from the December 10th, 2007 meeting were approved.

Each attendee received a copy of the Faculty Senate Bulletin.

New York State Faculty Senate:

• The date of the Plenary hosted at SUNY Delhi is Thursday, April 17th through Saturday, April 19th.  The Commission on Higher Education Preliminary Report (http://www.suny.edu/facultysenate/CHE_preliminary_report.pdf) was sent on December 17th, 2008 from the Presider.  E-mail T. Hamblin with any comments or concerns that need to be addressed.
