Outreach Programs
Counseling Services is committed to enhancing
the quality of student life and promoting mental health throughout
the campus by providing psycho-educational programming to the
college community. Outreach programs cover a variety of topics
including healthy relationships, communication, stress and time
management, alcohol and drug use and abuse, acquaintance rape and
domestic violence prevention for men and women, self-hypnosis, and
the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality assessment
instrument. Presentations are made primarily in classrooms and
residence halls, but programs are also conducted for athletic
teams, fraternities and sororities, and college staff and faculty.
Requests for programs should be directed to Counseling Services in
Foreman Hall.
