Student Life Leadership Awards have become an annual tradition because leadership and learning are indispensable to each other.

  • Over 70% of students (among the highest in SUNY) participate in Activities, Intramurals and Community Service

  • Over 10% of these hold campus leadership positions

  • Delhi students documented over 10,000 hours of community service and SUNY Delhi was recently named to President Bush's Honor Roll for Community Service

  • 75% of the student body use and highly rate Counseling and Health Services

  • 65% of students choose to live on campus.  Many live in one of the four living and learning environments specially designed to support student success.

  • SUNY Delhi ranks nationally for Activities with over 50 Clubs and 20 Intercollegiate Sports

  • Famous entertainers who have performed at Delhi include Jay-Z, Carrot Top, Jay Mohr, Rusted Root, Dave Chappelle, Jim Breuer, Grateful Dead, Jay Leno, U2, Run DMC, and two MTV tours

The Division of Student Life provides a wide range of educational, social and recreational programs, facilities and support services that foster a rich and engaging living and learning environment, facilitate the overall development of each student and enhance the sense of campus community. By promoting a safe environment, an appreciation for the dignity of all people and opportunities to develop leadership skills in a diverse and rapidly changing world, we assist students to become skilled and productive citizens.
