Eligibility Guidelines

The EOP program is funded through the New York State Educational Opportunity Program. The guidelines are:

  • Eligible first-time, transfer, or readmit/re-entry full-time students accepted to SUNY Delhi.
  • Resident of New York State for 12 months prior to enrollment at SUNY Delhi.
  • Consideration given to students from historically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Please note: Space is limited and EOP seats are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • The EOP Staff will review your scholastic record to determine if you meet our academic criteria.

  • Add $7,696 for each additional household/family member in excess of eight.

Income Guidelines Do Not Apply if:

  • The student's family is the recipient of Family Assistance or Safety Net payments through the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance; or through a county Department of Social Services; or Family Day Care payments through the New York State Office of Children and Family Assistance;
  • The student is in foster care as established by the court;
  • The student is a ward of the state or county.

Interview

  • Students determined both academically and financially eligible will also have to complete an interview with a staff member from the Educational Opportunity Program.
